Cat Care

£5 per 1/2hr for the first animal; subsequent animals £2 extra per visit - food provided by owner; water replenished and medication given as requested.

I am happy to provide a service to water plants, bring in post, close/open curtains and switch on lights free of charge when caring for any animal in residence.

Hope Project

Having just received the latest edition of Wag from The Dog's Trust, I thought I would mention a great idea that they are promoting.

Many people are homeless through no fault of their own, and of these, many have dogs that live with them on the streets. We all know how much companionship our own dogs bring us and for many people who are homeless they can be their only companion.

The Hope Project supports these dogs with veterinary care and  this year as an addition they are asking people to knit coats for them or consider giving them toys or treat stockings this Christmas.

Most of these dogs will never know the comfort our own pets do and if you would like to consider helping them please email hopeproject@dogstrust.org.uk

Diabetic pets

I am sure, as a pet owner, the thought of owning a diabetic cat/dog and injecting it twice a day, is something that fills most of us with a sense of apprehension at the very least and possibly panic at the initial diagnosis.

Charlie

The time that we all dread as pet owners is when we have to make that inevitable decision to painless put to sleep a friend. To make the choice that none of us in our heart of hearts wants to make, but also know in the same way that we have to.
